Faster and more precise analysis of pipes of all lengths: that’s what Pipecheck 5.0 allows to make. The new product by Creaform, a specialist in portable 3D measurement and engineering services, allows the assessment of integrity (corrosion, dents or cracks in metal ) of the entire volume of
pipe welds. Through ultrasonic surveys and 3D scans, Pipecheck 5.0 allows a complete evaluation of junctions on pipes with lengths up to 18 meters and a diameter of up to 142 cm, with analysis and creation of on-site reports up to six times faster. The accuracy and repeatability of the 3D mapping
compared to manual surveys (inspections that lasted days can now be performed in a few hours) is vital to safeguard the integrity of the pipelines.
